Hello
I’m Elisabeth, I live in Devon, and I'm passionate about providing holistic, compassionate support for you and your baby.

My own feeding journey opened my eyes to the lack of support available here in the South West. At times, it felt overwhelming trying to navigate things without the right guidance, and it sparked a desire in me to understand feeding, tension, and tongue ties more deeply. That experience led me to this work, and I now have the incredible privilege to walk alongside families, offering the kind of support that I once needed myself.

I am dedicated to identifying the root causes of feeding challenges and creating a personalised, achievable plan that works for both you and your baby. While I don't perform tongue tie divisions, I offer ongoing, wraparound support and can help guide you toward the most appropriate next steps and referrals if needed.
My 'why'
After a turbulent start to feeding with my first baby, I developed a deep passion for improving local feeding support services. We’re fortunate to have some brilliant peer support groups and wonderfully active Facebook communities here in the South West. But as helpful as these resources are, there’s still a significant gap when it comes to holistic tongue tie and oral function support.

NHS tongue tie services can be excellent for families who meet the specific criteria. However, they often fall short for those in the grey area—families whose babies show different symptoms, or who aren’t ready to pursue division right away.

This led me down a deep (and ongoing!) rabbit hole of learning—exploring the nuances of tongue ties, oral tension, and the complexity of oral function as a whole. The mouth is where so much begins: feeding, breathing, speech… so why is it so often overlooked?

My mission is to change that—to help families feel seen, supported, and empowered with the information and care they need, right from the start.
Experience
I began my journey into feeding through local peer support training, which led me to become an Infant Feeding Helper for the ABA study. In that role, I had the privilege of working 1:1 with families, supporting mums from their antenatal period through to postnatal care. It was here that I discovered my love for working closely with families, meeting them where they are, and tailoring support to their unique needs.
I then progressed into a paid Infant Feeding Supporter role with a local council, spending three incredible years working alongside families and other healthcare professionals—learning from them, guiding them, and providing ongoing support.

More recently, I completed the Tongue Tie Assessor course with Carmelle Gentle of The Tongue Tie Centre, which significantly expanded my knowledge and confidence in supporting feeding challenges.

This was the final step before taking the exciting leap into fully independent practice. Having the autonomy to work in the way I believe best serves the families I meet is truly rewarding.
